According to one author, we've seriously lost our way. He says we are like men adrift at sea without a compass. As a result, ethical and moral dilemmas plague us as we look ahead to the 21st century. Something has gone terribly wrong. Many of us know it, but what to do about it evades us. Is there any way to know the difference between right and wrong? Does religion have anything left to offer? From time to time we hear that the established churches are in confusion--that too often their leaders have nothing to say that's practical and helpful. Where does the truth on these matters lie? Back in the days just before the Second World War, things were different. The Western world was dominated by a particular value system. In a book titled 1938: A World Vanishing, Brian Cleeve wrote about the difference between Britain as it was entering the war and the way it had become about 50 years later. He said: "There really was, as nostalgia remembers, an air of greater contentment of a sturdier confidence in the future. [People] had a greater stock of moral certainties. Right and wrong were not matters for debate." Since then much has changed, of course. Now right and wrong are matters for debate. The end of the Second World War was a turning point. And while the morality of the '30s was not perfect, Cleeve noted that "to exchange a false morality for no morality at all is not necessarily an exchange for the better. And if, as a survivor of pre-war years, I were to offer an opinion as to one difference between then and now that is for the worse, I would have to choose morality.... the morality of believing that there are real and objective standards of behavior, that there are such things as virtues, and such things as vices; that certain things are unarguably good, and others unarguably bad." What has happened in contemporary Western society is the promotion of democratic ideas beyond reason. It's often been noted that democracy carries within itself the seeds of its own destruction. "In our modern eagerness to be tolerant," Cleeve stated, "we have come to tolerate things which no society can tolerate and remain healthy. In our understandable anxiety not to set ourselves up as judges, we have come to believe that all judgments are wrong. In our revulsion against hypocrisy and false morality we have abandoned morality itself. And with modest hesitations but firm convictions I submit that this has not made us happier, but much unhappier. We are like men at sea without a compass." He continued: "In 1938 in Britain the average man and woman still possessed a keen notion of what was right and what was wrong, in his and her own personal life, in the community, and in the world at large. When the war was finally begun it was clearly--and rightly--seen as a moral war by the ordinary people who were being called on to risk their lives in it." Has the time arrived again when ordinary people must make moral standards a personal crusade? Has the time come to stand up and be counted for the difference between right and wrong? We all know what's been going on around the world. Our leaders have been unable to stem the flow of violence, the corruption and the many evils of modern life. Why? Could it be that the answers do not lie with leaders--that they are found somewhere else, such as in the realm of personal responsibility? There was a time in the Western world when we could recite the Ten Commandments. They were taught in school. There was a time when our parents led the way in disciplining us for bad behavior. Much of our morality was based on the Book of books, the Bible. Sadly, today it's thought by many to be no more than a piece of great literature. It's important to understand the Bible's practical relevance to today's moral dilemmas. It is believed that in its pages, God has revealed the way that leads to true success and happiness in human society.

There are 2 variations of this combat simulation game. The first one to actually emerge as a game is Paintball, wherein participants use compressed gas-powered "guns" with containers holding paintballs mounted where scopes would usually be in a rifle. When fired, these paintballs shatter upon contact with the target, marking a hit. Unless taken from a very close distance, hits do not hurt nor leave any lasting pain. However, protective gears are still recommended during play to avoid any untoward incidents as physical activities such as running and ducking will be involved, putting emphasis on protective eyewear to prevent any accidental hits on the eyes.
The second variation is Airsoft. Here, a more realistic game is set, with rules and guidelines strictly adhered to by players during the game. Guns used in this Milsim are replicas of real guns, often so carefully detailed that it can be mistaken for the real one so emphasis on taking great caution in carrying these replica guns in public is made to every player before purchase to avoid any brushes with the law. As much as possible, these model guns must only be openly visible at the play area and should otherwise be concealed and treated as if real. These guns are loaded with plastic BB pellets and fire either with spring mechanisms, pressurized gas or electric motors. Since ammunition will be in the form of BB pellets, a hit will be hard to recognize because there will be no marks of it. Therefore, honor is the key element in this game. Once hit, a player is to acknowledge this by any means agreed upon before play.
Since realism is the main objective in this MilSim, players often don real military outfits during play for a more realistic feel of the game, although not required. However, should a player choose to play in plain jeans and shirt, emphasis is again put on proper protective eyewear since BB pellets are very small and may easily get into the eyes by accident.
During combat simulation, there will be an objective (i.e. capturing flags, protecting bases, kill-alls, etc.) which will be decided before play, usually requiring tactical skills and team effort to achieve. Most play areas will have a ready set of rules (i.e distance of engagement, safe zones, gear requirements, casualty reporting, etc.) but will usually pertain to safety and security. Should players get more creative with play situations and come up with additional set of rules (as long as these don't violate those of the play area), it will be entirely up to them. Fighting and/or provoking one is also strictly prohibited. Players involved in a fight or the provocation of which may be expelled from the play area.

Teaching Children How to Manage Financial Wisdom
Every parent wants their children to be prudent in managing personal finances. As in other areas of life, we hope to equip them so they do not repeat mistakes that make us pay a heavy price, we experienced many years earlier.
Here are some strategies that you can apply to teach your children about handling finances:
Giving money.
Contrary to the advice many people who say better to give gifts of money when the children complete a given task or achieve a feat, you are advised to give pocket money to your child without any conditions. They receive pocket money or allowance money because they are part of your family, and giving it a part of the duty of parents to provide for her children.
Giving this unconditional teach your children about God's grace and faithfulness. They did not accept because they deserve or are entitled to get it, they receive pocket money and allowances because they are children who are very loved by his parents. Whatever they do, that will change that, like love and faithfulness of God to His children. Nothing can change God's love to us, whatever we do. He remained God's faithful and loving.
Teaching tithing.
Encourage your children to give ten per cent of pocket money, allowance or other income to the "bank of God," and help them to decide where to invest for the Lord.
They could invest in the mission field, the church, pantiasuhan or social services. Teach them to have a spirit of give and do it with joy, make them understand that giving them an impact on the lives of others.

Given job or task such as sweeping, cleaning the bedroom, wash dishes, do because they are part of the family. They do not get paid for doing all that. To earn some extra money, they should do the job outside the home job.

When they were very young, help them by making their own bank accounts. To encourage saving, make a deal, for example every time they save ten thousand dollars, you will provide an additional twenty thousand dollars. But along with their age and growth of their awareness of the importance of saving money, extra money hilangkanlah earlier.

"History of Superman Is Dead " Indonesian musicians
Superman Is Dead (abbreviated SID) is a musical group from Bali, headquartered in Poppies Lane II - Kuta. This music group composed of three young men from Bali, namely: Bobby Kool as a guitarist and vocalist, Eka Rock as a bassist, and Jerinx as a drummer.
At the start of emergence, around the end of 1995, SID influenced styles of music from foreign bands like Green Day and NOFX. Later, inspired musical genre shift SID Punk 'n Roll band à la Supersuckers, Living End and Social Distortion.
Superman Is Dead are usually called SID was formed in 1995. Beginning of formation of the SID (Superman Is Dead), led by members of the heavy metal band named Ari Astina thunder often called Jerinx who want to form a new band. And the drummer for new wave punk band diamond clash Budi Sartika who used to be called Bobby Kool who want to become a guitarist and vocalist.
Jerinx and Bobby met in Kuta Bali. The two men then agreed to form a band. At that time the bass was filled by additional bassist named Ajuzt. The band they were originally brought the songs of Green Day.
Day by day there came a new personnel named Eka Eka Rock Arsana vocation. Eka become official as SID personnel. Formerly the name of his band is not Superman, but Superman Silver Gun. Then because the name Silver Gun Superman becomes less suitable bergantilah Superman or SID. Superman Is Dead has a meaning that is the perfect man is a mere illusion and human imagination that will never exist.[sunting] The Hangover Decade
Albums released in 2005 is a marker of 10 years standing SID. On her second album Punk SID still take the path as in the Kuta Rock City album, The album is the SID back to include some old songs like Long Way To The Bar, TV Brain, and Bad bad bad.

This third album seem more mature [citation needed], with lyrics that talked about the anger of nature, human greed, social and political circumstances. By incorporating elements of musical instruments such as accordions, trumpets and keyboards, as in the song Not Stepping Heroes and Hell. The album was released in 2006.
Angels & the Outsiders
Fourth album, released in 2009 on the major labels is impressive that the adult SID. Still like the previous album, SID still rely on social lyrics and resistance to penindasaan. The album this time the SID is still playing music punkrock with a touch of rock n 'roll. SID album is reaping success. One is the SID successfully invited to the Warped Tour Festival in the United States and conduct tours in several cities in the USA. This is a success because the SID is the only band of Indonesia and Asia's second band that was called to the Warped Tour even though their album was not released in the USA.
